Disability Discrimination


Although the Americans with Disabilities Act was passed back in 1990, over the years the United States Supreme Court had interpreted it in such a way that almost no one was recongized as being "disabled" and thus entitled to the law's protections.  Thankfully, effective January 1, 2009, Congress has amended the ADA to restore its meaning and scope.
