Biography
Rachel is dedicated to protecting workers’ rights and ensuring fair treatment in the workplace. Raised in Omaha, she earned bachelor’s degrees in History and Spanish from Benedictine College, where her commitment to workers’ justice first took root. While writing her thesis on the experiences of migrant laborers, Rachel witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable employees, inspiring her to pursue a legal career focused on advocacy and equity.
Rachel earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2022. During law school, she gained substantial experience in employment law through internships with Harvard Legal Aid Bureau handling wage‑theft matters and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she assisted in investigating discrimination and harassment claims. Before joining Fiedler Law, she worked in large law firms in Boston and Omaha, representing major corporations in complex commercial litigation—a background that now helps her anticipate and counter employer‑side strategies on behalf of her clients.
Today, Rachel is proud to say that her practice centers on advocacy for employees in cases involving workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and other unlawful employment practices. Throughout her career, Rachel has maintained a strong dedication to serving underserved and marginalized communities. She has provided pro bono representation to tenants facing eviction, volunteered with organizations supporting citizenship applicants, and continues to be an active contributor to community‑based legal efforts.
Outside the office, Rachel enjoys engaging with the Omaha community, pub trivia, and her beloved cat, Trudy.
